Step into a spacious entrance that opens into a bright, airy open-plan space with a fully equipped modern kitchen, high-quality appliances, and complete tableware. The dining table seats six, and next to it, the living room invites you to relax after a day outdoors on a plush Bellus sofa. A cozy fireplace completes the atmosphere.
Downstairs also includes a separate bedroom (with a curtain door) furnished with a luxurious Bellus double bed. As evening falls, crystal lighting adds a warm glow to the entire floor.
The modern bathroom with WC features new fittings and a shower cabin, with direct access to a spacious sauna for three adults – enjoy the soothing steam from the brand-new stove.
From the fireplace, a spiral staircase leads up to the loft, designed with child safety in mind. The staircase is fully enclosed with railings up to the ceiling. The loft has three high-quality 80 cm Bellus beds, comfortable even for adults (note: low ceiling height). For peace of mind, the loft also has an emergency exit with a window and ladder.
Free Wi-Fi is available, making remote work easy if needed.
Outside, you’ll find a covered terrace with a gas grill (summer use) and a spacious yard with parking for three cars. An ABB charging station (Type 2, bring a 7 m cable) is available free of charge for electric vehicles. Children can enjoy the swing in the yard.
Thanks to the central location, you can easily enjoy a car-free holiday. VR trains run daily from Helsinki to Kemijärvi, and during the season, a supported shuttle service takes you from the station to Suomutunturi for just €10/adult and €5/child each way (ski equipment transport included).

Kemijärvi’s beautiful nature offers plenty to see and do year-round. Local providers rent equipment for independent adventures as well as guided tours. Suomutunturi’s sheltered slopes include two FIS-level runs for demanding skiers, while the gentler slopes of East Suomu are perfect for families with children. For day trips, Ruka, Pyhä, and Salla ski resorts are all about an hour’s drive away.
At the foot of the slopes, the new and modern Hotel Suomutunturi offers ski rentals and a restaurant renowned for its excellent food and service. The hotel also provides meeting facilities and a small spa.
